Z vpisom v sodni register Republike Slovenije se je namreč uspešno zaključil večmesečni postopek pripojitve zasebnega visokošolskega zavoda FTPO k UP, ki s tem korakom še dodatno krepi svojo vlogo na področju materialov in krepi vezi z gospodarstvom.
Ob tej priložnosti UP izreka tudi uradno dobrodošlico študentom, raziskovalcem, pedagoškim in strokovnim sodelavcem FTPO in se veseli prihodnjih sinergij.
FTPO ima sedež v Slovenj Gradcu in izvaja študijske programe na področju polimernih tehnologij in materialov. S sodobno raziskovalno infrastrukturo sodeluje z gospodarstvom, poseben poudarek namenja razvoju biopolimerov ter raziskavam na področju recikliranja in trajnostnih rešitev.
